Week 3 included a Disaster Safety Workshop presented by the American Red Cross for our teens.  They learned how a pillow case can help them survive!  Teen Geocache is in full swing too.  If you haven't registered for the Summer Reading Program yet, stop in to the Palmer Library to pick up your activity sheet.  You'll be entered for amazing prizes when you return your sheets by July 22.

Our K-5th activity this week was our ever popular Pet Parade!  It was a beautiful morning at the Palmer Library when we welcomed 23 pets to our annual Pet Parade! Highlights included a visit from two baby mini goats, a beautiful golden chick, and adorable rabbits and dogs. Palmer Library’s youngest patrons did a fabulous job showing off their beloved animals with stories, jokes, and tricks. Special thanks to all the vet clinics and pet stores in our community who donated prizes for us to give away at this event. And thank you to our volunteers and FRIENDS of the Palmer Library who were able to make this event feel easy!
