Sundays at 2 is a winter program sponsored and organized by the Friends of the Palmer Public Library to connect with the community and spread awareness of library services provided by the Palmer Library.

December was a rip roaring month of outstanding performances supporting the library!

December 17 brought the Mat-Su Orchestra to the Palmer Depot for a lovely family friendly performance. The Mat-Su Orchestra also donates their many wonderful talents to support the library each year. The hour and a half performance was enjoyed by all!  Many thanks to our local Starbucks for donating the coffee for this event. Find out more about the Mat-Su Orchestra at matsuorchestra.org/

Santa Claus stopped by to visit during our 0-5 year old Storytime programs on December 12 & 14. Parents were thoroughly excited to snap photos with the jolly old elf. The kids were, well, both thrilled and terrified...depending on the kid. Everyone enjoyed holiday snacks, stories, and crafts along with our special guest.
