We have 10 patron desktops available for public use, free of charge. These computers are equipped with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, etc.)
You may log on using your library card number (with no spaces) as the Patron ID and your last name is the password. If you do not have a library card, you can get a (free) guest pass at the front counter.
Computer sessions last for 1 hour.
Please note that the computers are programmed to shut down 15 minutes prior to closing every day.
You can print from any of the desktops. Prints cost 25¢ per page, and are black and white only.
*Operating systems: All of our computers run Windows 7, including the laptops. We also have two Windows XP computers and one Macintosh.
We are pleased to offer free WiFi though out the library. You can connect using one of our devices or bring your own.
Choose the ppl network on your device. The password for the WiFi is: pplak123

Our WiFi also supports printing to front desk from phones and laptops.
Personal laptops will have to install the printer driver for the laserjet pro 400 m401 series from this website.
Laptops for In-House Use
We have 8 laptops that are available for in-house use. You must be 18 years or older to check them out, but do not need to have a library card. Simply trade us your ID or keys.
These laptops do connect to the internet. To print to the WIFI printer, pay a staff member 25¢ per page, then choose print. Or you may transfer files to our printer with a flash drive.
Laptops also have optical drives and SD card slots.
iPads for In-House Use
We have 4 iPad Airs available for In-house use. This is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with a tablet in a friendly setting. Our staff is very knowledgeable and available to help with any questions you may have.

Again, you must be 18 or over to check out an iPad and must trade a valid ID. (Children are welcome to use them under parent supervision.)
